01.02.07 - Leighton Contractors ADI Department of Defence site Bungandore ACT

McCourt Dando Water NSW, teams up with Nisbet & Durney and Leighton Contractors to undertake the installation of in ground drainage, water and wastewater supply to the new HQJOC at Bungendore in the ACT.

After completion of several other high profile building projects in Sydney, McCourt Dando have again continued there great working relationship with Nisbet & Durney, one of NSW largest plumbing contractors. This time on the HQJOC in Bungendore where MD's will be laying over 9km of various pipes ranging from 750mm diameter trunk services to 25mm copper lead ins. Our Vermeer T555 trencher has been used to expedite the works due the green field location of the site, and minimal amount of existing services present. Our 4 wheel drive 6 tonne dump trucks with swivel bucket make the placing of bedding sand easy, especially in wet conditions where conventional trucks/tippers get bogged. The contract works are due for completion in May 07, however being a design and construct type project we expect the scope to increase.
